Standard Patterns

Standard-Patterns-SmallSolid-sawn wood has been used for paneling, siding, flooring and other aesthetic uses for centuries. In the past, the patterns and shapes of these products were hewn by hand. These products today are shaped using modern cutting technology, creating patterns and designs for every possible use.

WWPA has published a guide to the basic patterns available in the market for more than four decades. The Standard Patterns publication lists more than 100 patterns by number or product description.

These patterns can now be viewed and printed online, either from a digital version of the Standard Patterns book or as individual drawings. To download or order a printed copy of this book, go to the Resource Library.

Western Wood Products Association represents softwood lumber manufacturers in the 12 Western states and Alaska.
