WWPA is the only lumber organization
that provides the basic structural information and product support
services for Western lumber products. The Association publishes
technical information on Western lumber, responds to customer questions
about WWPA lumber use and performance and conducts educational seminars
for building code officials, wholesalers, retailers, specifiers
and other lumber users.
WWPA's product support activities are
augmented by a corps of lumber experts who are available to provide
a variety of lumber support services, from answering user questions
on Western lumber products to educating key audiences on how to
properly specify and use Western lumber.

publications. WWPA offers a variety
of technical publications about Western lumber which can be

of questions from Western lumber customers. For many customers,

Member companies, the Association monitors developments in the
lumber marketplace and distributes reports on trends that could
become sales opportunities or challenges to lumber use in the
future.

Export Council, WWPA conducts promotion activities for Western
lumber products in a number of major world wood markets.
